Innovative Therapies, Inc. (ITI) is a privately held medical device company specializing in advanced wound care. Founded in 2006, ITI is headquartered in Maryland and holds patents to its Svedman and SVED devices, proprietary Foam Dressings and advanced continuous irrigation technology.
The Svedman and SVED Wound Treatment Systems promote wound healing, especially when used with ITI's proprietary continuous irrigation. Continuous irrigation keeps dressings clean and promotes a moist wound healing environment, thereby reducing the development of bio-films. Our proprietary foams reduce tissue in-growth, hence minimizing pain during dressing changes.
The Svedman and SVED are light-weight and portable. Weighing less than 2 pounds, the SVED can be worn in a shoulder pouch so that the mobile patient can receive continuous therapy, even with irrigation. Both systems include a battery that provides up to 18 hours of use between charges.
