Dr. Svedman received his MD at the University of Oslo School of Medicine in 1967, received his PhD at the Lund University in 1977, and became Associate Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Lund University in 1983. Dr. Svedman was appointed Visiting Professor at the University of Geneva, Department of Anaesthesiology, Pharmacology and Intensive Care in Geneva, Switzerland 1997-1998 and Visiting Professor at the University of Lausanne, Department of Endocrinology and Medicine, Lausanne, Switzerland 1999-2000. Dr. Svedman has published 63 scientific reports. Throughout his career, he has received numerous patents in Wound Treatment and Techniques for Transdermal Drug Delivery and Sampling.
