Svedman
The Svedman Wound Treatment device is a portable suction device that is AC-powered with battery back up for up to 18 hours. This device provides vacuum assisted wound closure and continuous irrigation of a wound site by controlled delivery of topical wound treatment solutions* over the wound bed.
This device is designed specifically for use with the ITI's proprietary black and white polyurethane foam dressings, canister and adhesive polyurethane drapes. This device is designed for use with continuous irrigation to a wound with sterile saline or other applicable topical solutions*. Negative pressure can be applied to assist in the removal of infectious materials and other fluids prior to, during and after irrigation.
The Svedman Wound Treatment Device is indicated for patients who would benefit from vacuum assisted drainage and controlled delivery of topical wound treatment solutions* and suspensions over the wound bed. It is intended for use on patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, sub-acute and dehisced wounds, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, flaps and grafts.
SVED
Like the Svedman Wound Treatment device, the SVED is also a portable and AC-powered device that provides localized negative pressure. It offers the same functionality and capability of the larger Svedman but with a smaller profile. The SVED provides vacuum assisted drainage and continuous irrigation of a wound site by controlled delivery of topical wound treatment solutions* over the wound bed.
